Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He is one of the cutest kids ever! Every time he sees us he runs over smiling and gives us big hugs. This is one of my students. I wish he was this quiet in class. He was trying so hard not to fall asleep, and then 10 minutes before we reached Mercy he was out. The girl to the left is also one of my students. Saturday, February 23, 2008. This is a picture from the outside of the slums where we are working. Feb 22, 2008. The Mercy Centre is impressive! There are so many different departments including those who look after the aids patients, the school teachers, community outreach groups, volunteer coordinators, cooks, etc. We greeted everyone with the wai, and were greeted back. Free plane rides.whoa. One of the benefit of having a 'good' job is also the free business trips you can get from your company. But after my more then 28 hours straight flights, I am not so sure I am up for plane trips anymore. Sleeping in the plane can kill time, but it makes me more tired. Welcome home, myself.
