Tuesday, June 8, 2010. When your children are small, you wouldn't dream of celebrating their birthday on any other day, but their birthdate. However, when they get older - you sneak it in whenever they happen to be home. Austin's 19th birthday was May 29th but we finally celebrated it on June 6th. He is such a fun kid and I am really proud of him. He said, "No, I would like to talk on choosing the left." To this day I still laugh about it. Things I love about Aus are. He has a great sense of direction.

Monday, July 21, 2008. Saturday night we went to the Pioneer Rodeo. While I was growing up we went to the rodeo every year and it was something that I really looked forward to. I have always liked to watch the bull riding and the barrel racing (I don't much care for the calf roping stuff - I think it is a little inhumane). Anyway, Craig and I, Austin, Morgan, and Mekenzie went, along with my brother in law and my two nephews. When we got there it was 101 degrees, so needless to say it was rather hot.
