Wednesday, April 11, 2012. It was a weird feeling today walking into clinic knowing that this would be my last time ever seeing patients in here. It was also crazy to think that these would be my last patients I see until I am out in clinical practice! My morning patient was not coming until 9:00, so I was able to do my air powder polishing PE on Stefanie (Thanks Stef! Tuesday, April 3, 2012. I miss you ultrasonic! I passed my clinical DH board! I am so happy, I found out yesterday! A much needed easy day.

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. This morning I saw a new patient who ended up being a class II. He has quite a bit of subgingival calculus but not quite enough for boards and has multiple restorations. I was able to get a pano and a film set of bitewings on him. He had lots of plaque and bled a TON! Thursday, November 17, 2011. Wheelchairs are not for racing. Then in the afternoon, it was Lab time. We learned how to transfer wheelchair bound patients in and out of our dental chair. We also pushed each other on wheelchairs around campus and had a race, which we quickly found out was not the best idea because I was almost launched out of my chair onto the cement. Sunday, October 31, 2010. I enjoyed what we were doing last Wednesday. I have done so many prophylaxis cleanings on patients in the past that it was second nature. I felt very confident in polishing Tori's teeth and making sure that the prophy cup flared underneath her gum line. I didn't do a fluoride varnish treatment on her, but it can't be too hard! Tuesday, October 26, 2010. It's all a blur. I practiced at home and got a decent sized chunk of calculus off of my husband's teeth! Let the calculus fly!

Friday, September 30, 2011. Are coming easier than I expected. I am so grateful for this fact. I thought that getting all of my requirements was going to be an absolute pain in the you know what! Last week I made a valiant attempt at seeing two patients in the morning. One was my wonderful husband who needed a cleaning desperately and the other was my patient needing to get an a transplant list. I got Trevor in and out of there within an hour and 20 minutes. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. My patient today had braces. That is difficult to work around. She was even sweet enough to take out her wires for me. I was able to take Schick x-rays on her as well. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I love seeing family! My son was a real trooper this morning. I brought him in bright and early with me to clean his teeth.
