My Adorable Trifecta: October 2013
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 11, 2013. June Cats and Kittens. I really ought to catch up, but it's overwhelming how much there is! So here are some more overviews. In June our first foster litter of kittens was ready for adoption. It didn't take long for someone to show interest in Priscilla. She was the first kitten we had to give up. It was a bit heartbreaking, but she seemed to be going to a good home with another kitty friend. The other kittens finally had a breakthrough with Ginger! After a few weeks we brought ...

My Adorable Trifecta: June 2012

Tuesday, June 26, 2012. End of the School Year. Mother's Day Tea in kindergarten. The kids sang and read and gave each mother a decorated bag with a growing marigold plant. Then we ate strawberries and brownies. Author's Day: At the end of the school year the kids get a chance to share the portfolios they have created through the year with a parent (or other available helper). Kate and Lizzie both wrote many of their stories about the kitties Ginger and Sierra. Written by Janelle Southern. Let's just ski...

My Adorable Trifecta: Provo Temple spring portraits... ish.
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2013/08/provo-temple-spring-portraits-ish.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. Provo Temple spring portraits. ish. The title says it all! Photos I took of the girls at the Provo, UT LDS temple in June. It was fun practice. We went there twice, the second time with some cousins who show up in a few pictures too. The fans were used to stave off heat stroke. It was hot out there! It's just not "portraits" unless we get a silly face. Written by Janelle Southern. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. May, Family Camp. May, The Cattery.

My Adorable Trifecta: November 2012
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 9, 2012. Finishing Soccer and Continuing Dentistry. Just minutes before Sabrina's last soccer practice she was running on some asphalt and tripped in her cleats. She managed to tear up her knee pretty badly. Her last soccer game was the next day, but she had developed a fever so she missed out. Poor kid! Thankfully she healed up pretty quickly after that. I'm sure glad we had the opportunity to do soccer this fall! It was a great experience for all of us. Finally, here are a few pictures...

My Adorable Trifecta: July 2012
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Oh What Do You Do in the Summertime? Oh, what do you do in the summertime, when all the world is green? Do you fish in a stream, or lazily dream on the banks as the clouds go by? Is that what you do? We've had so much fun this summer that I've barely taken time to record it. So here's a little peek:. The note on the fridge when the girls came home from their last day of school. We made it back to the Museum of Art and found the Children's Exhibit. Wow! That night we went to the co...

My Adorable Trifecta: September 2012
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 15, 2012. Soccer Games, pt.1. It has been a real adventure. Dinners have become more rushed and more important at the same time. One of our camp chairs has been upgraded, but the other one needs to be. I've learned all the tricks to finding less expensive sports gear, cause with 3 sets it adds up FAST. Half-dozen games every week. Plus practices. Driving circles around town a few nights a week uses a lot of fuel. As exhausted as we've been, it has also been fantastic! One of the funni...

My Adorable Trifecta: May, The Cattery
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2013/08/may-cattery.html
Tuesday, August 27, 2013. May, The Cattery. Photos to have posted to list the kittens as "available for adoption". Except the upper left corner picture. That picture of Thomas was just too sweet. Below Thomas is Shuri, then on the right side, top to bottom are Priscilla, Felicia, and Thomas (again). Cats love boxes. That's very true. But they also love a good basket! Even if it gets a little crowded at times. There was no keeping them in one place any more! The kittens absolute love each other! They were...

My Adorable Trifecta: August 2012
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 26, 2012. First Day of School 2012-2013. This summer seemed to just fly by. In no time at all we went from spending days at the library and visiting with cousins to getting back on a decent sleep schedule and preparing for soccer. I'm exceedingly grateful that all three girls still love school. They were excited to go back and spend time with friends and learn new things (no, seriously! It is impossible to properly show (though if I slowed the shutter speed down a bit you might get a bette...

Saturday, June 29, 2013. March - Happy Birthday, Grandma. At the beginning of March we celebrated my mom's birthday. We'd worked together secretly across the country to put together a quilt for her. The quilt included blocks made of white fabric with iron-on transfers putting pictures on them. It was a lot of fun and turned out pretty spectacular. I made the birthday cake, with the owl motif from the starting square of fabric. All in all, a wonderful celebration of a wonderful mother / grandmother! Since...

My Adorable Trifecta: May 2013
http://adorabletrifecta.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 4, 2013. A few pictures I missed from Christmas: Ginger was thrilled by all the empty boxes left around. We did stop by to visit the grands (Grandpa and Grandma Southern and Grandma Abuela, aka Grandma Jensen). Each person had a ticket to have "stamped" at each activity. Then at the end everyone who did enough activities (well, actually we just did everyone :) ) got to pick a wrapped white elephant gift. I was there too! Little J was taking some experimental steps towards being a grown up w...
