Fter an overnight flight from Denver with a stopover in London, we landed in Milan's Milenpensa Airport. We flew into Milan one day early so as to avoid being overly tired for the beginning of our tour - a lesson we learned from last year! Shuttle van picked us up and took us to our hotel. We stayed at the Hotel Cervo near the airport as all we wanted was a place to eat and sleep after a long flight. In the late afternoon, we enjoyed a wonderful supper ( cena. I haven't posted in a while due to laziness, poor I know, but having broken one of the fundamental parts of Dad's birthday present I had to redeem myself! I am going to go a bit off track and showing you some of my butterfly pictures that I have recently taken. This first one is a Painted Lady that was at Durlston. Further up the path we saw two Marbled Whites mating. The Marbled White is the common and widespread butterfly in its group, the Browns.
