Monday, August 6, 2007. It’s been a long summer. I have been very busy with the youth outdoor program I run but finally finally I have a break. I begin to look at yet another weekend at the Ocoee and can only shake my head. How many times can I run this river this summer? The stage is set. Time to go boatin’! And the crowds go wild! Wednesday, December 12, 2007. The Tale of the Ocho Rios-The Double Header. Day four is to be Boyd and Drew’s warm up day so we go for a El Salto/Micos double header. After breakfast I begin to feel a little ill though don’t think much of it. We put on the quick moving water of the Salto and boogie down to La Luminosa. Once there Boyd, Drew, and Kim get out to take a look while Adam runs it to set up the camera followed by myself to do the same with the video camera. The rest of the river goes quick.
