52 weeks to preparedness. Monday, July 14, 2008. Fourth of July, Star Valley Style. Warning: fun times ahead and lots of pictures. This is our trip to Star Valley Wyoming. Undoubtedly the best place to spend the fourth of July in my book. It hammers Richfield. First day the kids got to feed the horses. Aunt Marilyn showed them how to use a pitch fork. Not sure if they participated or just watched this time. This is the bedroom. Notice all the people? To us there was another parade in 15 minutes. Good...

52 weeks to preparedness. Sunday, July 11, 2010. A beautiful day at Panguitch Lake. We love this place. The lake was at it's fullest. This is the dam, it was only a foot below the top. Grandma and Grandpa Joe came up for a couple days. The bridge at Mammoth Creek. This was right before the turnoff to Bryce Canyon. Zoom in and you will see prairie dogs. This is one of their holes. It went forever. Overlooking the Escalante River. Taylin's fish. She is turning into quite a fisherwoman! At the top of Boulder.

DANIELS' DAZE: December 2008
http://maandpa7.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 18, 2008. Things I have learned this year! Eat oatmeal for breakfast EVERY day. Actually, quality time does count! Praise people for things they do well. Don't limit yourself to associate with people who ALREADY share your values. Your kids will not learn things until they are ready to. Let them take their journey at their own pace. Play scrabble to keep your mind sharp. (still working on it). Seek out people that make you laugh. Tell your kids you love them everytime you talk to them.
