A cat spool is a place for a cat to stretch out or curl up. I found the inspiration in yarn spools and I have been working with Freida Butterfly and Lady Jane to design a hangout that meets their many needs. If they didn't approve the cat spools we wouldn't sell them. Cats want to be inside a space and outside a space, not too enclosed but enclosed. Cats want to curl up into a ball on some days, and stretch out on other days. Cats want things that are soft and high pile, something to sink into.
