First Wonder Goes Deepest: Hiding and Seeking
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2013/07/hiding-and-seeking.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Sunday, July 7, 2013. Last week, in between the packing and preparing for my year away at Bible school, I played a little Hide and Seek with these two. And a finally healthy again, Yaya. Behind the water barrel - I found these two! Behind the kitchen door - found again! In the garden - they found me! Hope your Monday is cheerful! Yaya is so much bigger now! Must have been hard to leave them Kim! July 13, 2013 at 4:27 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Trip to Napep.

First Wonder Goes Deepest: August 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Sunday, August 26, 2012. It doesn’t usually start to rain until about 11 am, but this morning we woke up and found the ground covered with wet “foot fungus” dew and rain clouds looming overhead, threatening to soon pour forth their unwanted blessings. Our group decided to share a meal together the forth Saturday of each month, in addition to studying God’s Word. This was to be our first such meeting. I walked out into the pouring rain a little before 11 this morning. Walking ba...

First Wonder Goes Deepest: November 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Sunday with three fellow Americans, one Canadian, one Aussie and two South Africans. There wasn’t any turkey, but there were plenty of fresh veggies and berries from my garden. We feasted, laughed, chatted for hours and then ended the night by praying together. It was a lovely. And I do have so much to be thankful for…. I am thankful for our Didinga Bible study group. May God’s word do a mighty work amongst us all. I am ...

First Wonder Goes Deepest: October 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Wednesday, October 24, 2012. School Opens for Term 3. We just finished our third week of our 3. Term of school here in Nagishot. After careful consideration and a great deal of prayer, I decided to make the move from City on the Hill Primary School back up the mountain to my old stomping grounds, Faith Primary School. I am so glad that I did! My new group of students is lovely! Once again, I can honestly say that I love my job! Praising God for that! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

First Wonder Goes Deepest: June 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Friday, June 1, 2012. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to climb Mt. Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa (Tanzania’s Mt. Kilimanjaro is the highest). In my former life, my Washingtonian life, I spent a great deal of my downtime in the mountains. Rarely a weekend passed in which I didn’t take advantage of the awesome hiking, climbing and endless wandering to be had in the Pacific Northwest’s wilderness. But anyways, as I was saying, I love the mountains. As far as ...
Team Pete: December 2014
http://teampetekenya.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 24 December 2014. Driving from Montana to Colorado with Daneen, I had one of those “gratitude moments” in my life. Those moments when your heart and soul are overwhelmed with gratitude to God, when emotions get the best of you and tears start rolling down your cheeks, when you feel so blessed and know that you will never be able to repay others for all they have done for you (but you still want to try). Do you know what I am talking about? We were somewhere in the middle of Wyoming. Living ove...

First Wonder Goes Deepest: Bible Camp - The answered prayer addition!
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2013/06/bible-camp-answered-prayer-addition.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Monday, June 17, 2013. Bible Camp - The answered prayer addition! There were so many answered prayers, so many opportunities to see God at work. Here are just a few…. Some may say that organizing two, mostly outdoor, Bible Camps in the middle of rainy season is not a good idea. And yet, God is so much bigger than the weather. Realistically, the possibility for rain to have literally washed out these camps was almost inevitable. Our team flew out of Nagishot on a Saturday. 8211;...

First Wonder Goes Deepest: rest
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2013/06/rest.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Saturday, June 22, 2013. After nearly five months in South Sudan, Abbi and I relished a little time of rest, relaxation and reflection on the cloudy, but nonetheless beautiful, Kenyan coast this past week. I was pretty worn out, pretty ready for a break. Evidence of weariness. I only took two picture the whole time we were on holiday. These monkeys wanted a sip of my morning coffee. I refused. We will be heading back into Nagishot early Monday morning. View my complete profile.

First Wonder Goes Deepest: December 2012
http://firstwondergoesdeepest.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
First Wonder Goes Deepest. Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Merry Christmas from South Sudan! I fly home to the States tonight! I am pretty excited (I'm not as. Excited about the LONG flight, but hey, you can't win 'em all). May your Christmas be filled with. JOY, for the LORD has COME. Our Didinga Christmas Play. After months of careful preparation, our little school preformed their Christmas play in front of the church last Sunday. They did such a great job! Eager young actors showed up on our porch hours.

First Wonder Goes Deepest. Friday, April 19, 2013. Prayer for Didnga VBS. This past week Abbi and I have been busy with Vacation Bible School preparations. It has been exciting to see how God has been working out all the small details and pushing this camp forward. Here are some more ways that you can pray for the Vacation Bible School:. Please pray with us for wisdom and direction in the preparation of camp curriculum. Rainy season has already begun here in Nagishot. By the time this camp roles arou...
