Joel and Caz's big Adventure: April 2008

http://joelandcazsbigadventure.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Joel and Caz's big Adventure. Saturday, April 5, 2008. Sorry we haven't updated the blog for a while, we have become v lazy travellers and the internet is painfully slow in some parts! After Phnom Penh we headed to Siem Reap which was a really beautiful city, full of parks and charm and a lot quiter than Phnom Penh and of course there was Angkor Wat which was really break taking. We did a 3 day tour, i don't think we could have done any less time, there is just so much to see! Love Caroline and Joel xx.

Joel and Caz's big Adventure: Good night Saigon

http://joelandcazsbigadventure.blogspot.com/2008/03/good-night-saigon.html

Joel and Caz's big Adventure. Friday, March 21, 2008. We set off early morning with our rucksacks strapped to the back of our bikes and hit the road. These guys took us on a tailor made trip, and promised us they would show us the real Viet Nam, and thats exactly what we got! It certainly seems to work, and still in its economic infancy it's probably the only system that could work! By the end of our trip we arrived in Mui Ne, a tourist resort. It was a big come down after our experience on the road.

Joel and Caz's big Adventure. Thursday, March 6, 2008. Sitting in Bangkok airport waiting for flight to Vietnam. We are almost 3 weeks in to our travels and absolutely loving it, we have definately got used to the nomadic lifestyle! After leaving Haad Yuan in Koh Phagnan we headed for Koh Tao. We had been there before 4 years ago but it was so much prettier than we'd remembered. We found a gorgeous beach called Ban Chalok ( i think! I would definately recommend it! We are meeting up with Jenni and Dan th...

Fruit is not an option. The surprising adventures of Jenni and Dan. Friday, February 15, 2008. Having festivals and fiestas in the Philippines means that the locals are super hospitable. We even got given free lunch. We went into a cafe to get some lunch and coffee, and they just gave it to us for free! And they use speechmarks around inappropriate words or phrases, for example: We are "happy" to serve you. It's great! We're now is Luang Prabang in Laos and it's freezing here! Standing behind a BBQ with the air temp at 37 degrees it really does start to feel like Christmas, I know that's what you've all been doing too! I even wore a Christmas hat just to make it a little hotter! But we have been making it as Christmassy. And Marika (Jenni's cousin and his wife) at the most. In Asia and 22 nd.
