This year, Joel and I decided not to "go all out" decorating for Christmas since we would be packing it up almost as soon as we got everything out since we were moving before Christmas. I was able to talk Joel into letting me buy a small Christmas tree to put up and decorate so we would at least have a tree and a few decorations. Here is a picture minus the tree skirt! We even went to the extreme of buying a special cable package so that we can watch every Auburn and Alabama game of the season. Troy and Taz. Monday, July 7, 2014. 4th of July Celebrations in Sardis. We celebrated America's birthday "Sardis style" this year and it was lots of fun. Chandler stayed with Gammy and Gramps for the first 2 nights and then she joined us on Saturday for some fun on the water. She did great on the boat but was not a fan of the life jacket. Hartley loved it as always but we couldn't talk her into getting on the tube this trip. Maybe next time! Jake enjoyed the water, too! I hope she never loses all those baby fat rolls.
