To err, to fall. 8220;To live, to err, to fall, to triumph, to recreate life out of life! Yesterday I fell in love with my SRP book. Usually when I identify with a character I feel a sense of satisfaction and growth, but when I began to see myself as Stephen Dedalus, and formulated by own analogous portrait, it only reaffirmed my second semester senior apathy, if not exacerbated it from purely academic to include social as well. Like butter scraped over too much bread. Top 5 Most Frustrating Things.

On A January Night When The Cold Winds Freeze. 8220;Red At Night” – The Gaslight Anthem. I turned eighteen last Tuesday. I feel draftable. It’s strange how one day can seperate my childhood and adulthood. It facilitates a lot of reflection. I try not to put too much gravity into birthdays and usually end up skirting by with a family dinner and a few wishes in school. 8220;Janos vs Wonderland” – Tristan Allen and Amanda Palmer. Its getting hard to find motivation. After working towards a successful audition, I’m having trouble keeping my mind active in the falling action of the last few months left in this town. As an antitode, and as a break from music, I’ve been reading a lot for pleasure, which is something I forgot how to do. What is the What. The other day, and I started. That night. I figure I could do a few of my own top fives…. Top Five Most Frustrating Classes. American History (8th grade). 02/14/2011 at 12:44 am.

Backup Plan #2 | Red At Night

8220;Janos vs Wonderland” – Tristan Allen and Amanda Palmer. Shave my head, move to the Appalachian mountains. I’ll make wind chimes and blow glass till my hair destroys my need for clothing. I remember Tristan burning through his compositions at 4am in the practice rooms and it was one of the most moving experiences of my life. He went for days without sleeping, wore combat boots he claims to have bought at an S&M store, and went by “Triscuit” to most of us. One Response to “Backup Plan #2”. Blog at Wor...

Hundreds of Thousands of Hospital Beds, and All of Them Empty But Mine. 8221;Two” – The Antlers. Over Thanksgiving break I gave The Antlers album,. Another try. I had downloaded it earlier as required listening assigned by my new band, but I didn’t really get it. It just sounded like shoegazy textures with mumbling, which isn’t really anything new. It wasn’t till I researched the backstory and listened to the album four times that I realized that. Was about a boat. Here’s what I got from it:.

8220;Born to Run” – Bruce Springsteen. I’ve been feeling stretched super thin these past few weeks. Yesterday things just sucked for the most part. I woke up super early for a Showstoppers rehearsal and then stayed in choir for the first two bells to rehearse. Granted, this is usually fun, but it’s just freaking exhausting. I had to cut open a fetal pig in anatomy, which is physically disgusting to anyone and ethically confusing for a vegetarian. Its getting hard to find motivation. After working tow...

8220;A More Perfect Union” – Titus Andronicus. Over spring break, I read. By Christopher McDougall, a journalistic narrative about a tribe of barefoot runners in Mexican canyons called the Taramuhara. It also talks about ultra-running, a running style that involves races that stretch from 50 to 100 miles long. But now I’m running. And it feels really good. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. 8220;Milos” – Anis Mojgani. This rain is breaking me. I feel like freshman year. I’m restless and tired and inspired and apathetic and I end up just doing nothing and hating it, and hating myself because of it. It’s just Seasonal Affective, but still, it has me wondering…things do change after highschool, right? Maybe I’m just tired. Massive show on Thursday, Mariemont prom on Friday, Sycamore prom on Saturday, and doing it. Again next weekend. School and music are both slipping. Blog at WordPress.com.
