Pretty Shiny Things: August 2011
http://creekpilgrim.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Random links and random thoughts. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Found this on Yahoo today. Keeps the Trains Running on Time. Expecting $100,000 or more. My salary is based on the jobs and terminals I get assigned, but if they pan out as expected, I've been told I should break $100,000 this year. I just graduated from the University of Minnesota and served two deployments to Iraq as a medic. Yet, I somehow landed a job that requires just a GED or high school diploma and pays over $100,000 in some areas.

And Voice of America. 15 September, 2010. The Olympics and t...

Pretty Shiny Things: Dear American Police
http://creekpilgrim.blogspot.com/2011/11/dear-american-police.html
Random links and random thoughts. Wednesday, November 02, 2011. As a citizen of this great experiment in democracy, I have a message for you:. When you see thousands, tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands of people in the street - or even the determined few who so often bring real change - you see us armed with only our bodies and our voices. You the police - local, state, or federal - are the ones with the tear gas, rubber bullets, and other "less lethal weapons.". You have the right to walk away.
