While we are away...: Another Week With Patrick - Toulumne
http://joelandkrystina.blogspot.com/2012/10/another-week-with-patrick-toulumne.html
While we are away. Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Another Week With Patrick - Toulumne. American Wet Dream 5.10b. This climb is like doing 5 single pitch climbs. It leaves the ground and at the end of every pitch it traverses a huge ledge to the base of the next pitch. It's a great route though and I was happy to finally get to climb it. Patrick on the first pitch 5.9. Me on the second pitch 10a. You can see the top of the crux 3rd pitch in the upper left corner of the rock. Patrick led the crux pitch 10b.

While we are away...: August 2008
http://joelandkrystina.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
While we are away. Friday, August 29, 2008. More from the big ditch. Krystina and I rode up to Glacier Point with our friend Daniel the other night to shoot the stars. I really enjoyed being up there late at night and Kry seemed to find a million shooting stars. It all made for a good night. So, Krystina was sitting in the meadow talking on the phone so I decided to use the time to set up a portrait of her. Here it is. I have a very pretty and amazing wife! More on Halfdome later. Monday, August 25, 2008.

While we are away. Thursday, June 21, 2012. A Belated Post of our Trip to England. We had a great time visiting with Paul and Marj in England. It was only a two day trip, but we enjoyed seeing their place and playing with Walter! We were able to see the two other houses on the property. This one has a beautiful garden that the owners before Paul and Marj made on there own. A little japanese garden. A beautiful garden and waterfall behind there house. Walter following the car home. The original stair case.

While we are away. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Heading Home for the winter. Ansel Adams shot it first and shot it best. But here is my humble try. Moonrise from the driveway. Krystina leading Jam Crack. It was a great summer for us. Neither of us climbed as much as we wanted and didnt get as good as we had hoped but we both got much better on cracks. Next summer should be great. So to me this looked like a dinosaur eating a bush. Adam in the Big Ditch. At the top of nut kracker 5.8. Mom and Dad in the V...

While we are away. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Valley View and Horsetail Fall. I tried to photograph horsetail fall last night. The clouds came in and covered the sunset so it never turned red. This is what I got though. Which is still cool but nothing like it could have been. If it had turned out right the water would glow red. maybe next time. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Our first day of climbing! And some more snow pics. The down river view from the porch at the B&B, during the big snow! Joel climb...

While we are away...: Another Week With Patrick - Clyde Minaret

While we are away. Saturday, October 13, 2012. Another Week With Patrick - Clyde Minaret. The hike in was beautiful, once we got off the John Muir Trail and away from the Devils Post Pile tourist traffic it was quiet and peaceful . You can just see Clyde poking above the trees in the middle of the photo. Last light on the lake. This photo is taken from our campsite. Nice Sierra color at sunset. Looking up at Clyde from the base. One of the corners about 1/3 of the way up the route. And of course the Sier...
