The Booy Family: December 2008
http://thebooyfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 27, 2008. A belated Christmas Wish and a Happy New Year! Okay, so maybe the excess, sleeping and eating carry some of the allure of Christmas, but overall it usually has to do with the people we get to share those days with and in some cases the people, we don't. Nothing has been finalized, really. We just decided today and sent the emailed acceptance note to the company. Hmm. . . lots of emotion, tears, and desire to do the right thing went into making the decision. Stefan and Ian sha...

The Booy Family: We've said our "good-byes", and now we are saying our "hellos"!
http://thebooyfamily.blogspot.com/2009/11/weve-said-our-good-byes-and-now-we-are.html
Monday, November 2, 2009. We've said our "good-byes", and now we are saying our "hellos"! Ahh, a moment to sit and reminisce over the past couple of months! I have been wanting to do this ever since we have returned to Arkansas but for one reason or another would never carve out the time to do so! For me, it is so important to think back over the time in Holland and hold it true and very real to my heart. I fret over it becoming just a section in one of my photo albums! These pictures are a montage of th...

The Booy Family: Great days to remember.
http://thebooyfamily.blogspot.com/2009/03/great-days-to-remember.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Great days to remember. Ian caught sight of his sister and they began to run toward each other. So cute. You never know if days like these touch each person involved the same way, but I am glad to have been able to share this day with my parents and my two special little people. I think we laughed and smiled the whole way to McDonalds. . . now that is a day to remember! Hanging out at a lovely park in Rotterdam. Gouda's city hall, right in the heart of the town center! Our home...

The Booy Family: August 2009
http://thebooyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 16, 2009. I think I can, I think I can. Yesterday, we got up early and took Stefan to the airport! Well, funny story here: While Stefan was watching his movies, resting his eyes, working his finger to the bone, or whatever he chose to do on his quiet, and hopefully "restful" flight (can you hint a bit of envy? We coast to a stop, and end up right in front of the very last exit sign and next to a emergency call stand on the side of the road. The scene is sad and funny all at the same time!

The Booy Family: September 2008
http://thebooyfamily.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 27, 2008. I think it is only natural for me to want to share some important people in our lives here in Holland with you fine people all over the world. (okay, mainly Arkansas, but some other far reaching parts as well). This weekend we had the chance to see Arden and Ian run in a race and cheer on a friend of ours. (I know she is going to say, 'I can't believe you posted that picture! But isn't that what we all would say? Brooke: 1 year, precious and quick on her feet. She said that ...

team clark: March 2014

Tales of the clarks, as told by heather. In honor of Wesley's 4-month-birthday day, here is the story of his entrance into the world and into our family. In the evening on November 22, I texted a few good friends to ask for special prayer. I was struggling to trust God with the timing of Wesley's birth. In my head, I knew I couldn't control it anyway. And that God is good and trustworthy and wise. But in my heart I was so. Daniel was super excited, leaped out of bed, and said, "Really? Or so we thought.

Tales of the clarks, as told by heather. Never a Dull Moment. Well, I have another interview scheduled for next Thursday, June 3rd. I get to teach a lesson again - what fun! Also, it's a very different position than that last one I interviewed for. This one is for 3rd grade, at the school where Daniel teaches in the middle school. I will be away in Williamsburg for the week on vacation, but I'm going to drive up Wednesday late afternoon, and drive back down after the interview =P. So that's a blessing.

Tales of the clarks, as told by heather. This is me, working on a screenplay =) i love to write. This is jack. he is adorable. and he's a little two small to run around in 2 feet of snow. hehe! He doesn't know this, though. he thinks he's a very big dog. =P. This is my mom and me on superbowl sunday. they braved the un-plowed roads to bring us over to their house to watch together. This is jack, again. like i said, "adorable.". I had such a hard time keeping it secret for that long! Aren't they cute, too?
