On one end, it opens to the kitchen though a narrow doorway (left). The house layout suggests that it was meant to be a formal dining room, so a door would have blocked food service. Attentive, perfectionist in his work (keep erasing until the writing is perfect) and a quick learner are not how we usually associate him with. So I had to get rid of more than 12 inches of snow (actually more than 15 inches in some places! With my little light-duty snow blower this morning. Google, and Youtube, makes it so easy to find an answer, then be led down the slippery slope, through the rabbit hole, over the waterfall and finally float helplessly in a pool of blearily sated sensory overload. A long spilt in the paint and joint-compound developed in the ceiling. This is the seam between dry wall panels near the middle of the garage.
