Joel's Every Now and Then Blog. Friday, December 10, 2010. I wanted to post some of the photos of my first gingerbread house attempt. Mom provided a lot of consultation help so I thought the least I could do is let her see how things turned out. I ALSO put the walls together wrong so the shape of the roof was all wrong. Some retrofitting was necessary. Kaya was close by and very interested throughout the whole project. We decorated gingerbread cookies, too. Three types of frosting!

Joel's Every Now and Then Blog. Thursday, January 07, 2010. Well, I'm finally giving in and posting on Joel's blog. I fear he will never do it himself again.you'll all just have to harass him into it. :). Joel also got motivated one Sunday and put lights up. Kaya even got her very own squirrel to destroy - I think it helped her feel better that she can never catch the ones in the park. Yea, thanks for all the updates, Joel is a lazy bum. Good luck with all the interviewing, thats never fun, but it so...

Moore's Blog: 21 Hours in a Car

http://blogginsmoore.blogspot.com/2015/07/21-hours-in-car.html

Saturday, July 11, 2015. 21 Hours in a Car. So we are officially crazy! We decided to drive to Colorado, Utah and Idaho this summer. With 4 kids and a trunk full of college students stuff it was just a little bit more economical. Friday, June 12th We bid goodbye to an old and faithful friend. This van has taken us from sea to shining sea and has lived a good life.but it was time for a new, more trust worthy car! You know the pioneer song about the children walking and walking and walking? We got a good r...

Moore's Blog: February 2006

http://blogginsmoore.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday, February 28, 2006. I had a great weekend! Jen Flinders flew up to see her brother but I was able to steal her away for awhile! It is so much fun to see her and to talk in person and laugh! We wanted to watch one of our favorite "chick flicks" Sweet Home Alabama and she needed to be back to her brother's in 45 minutes so we hit all our favorite highlights. You can only do that with a best friend and still get the entire gist of the movie! I wish we were closer but thank heavens for phone lines!

Moore's Blog: June 2006

http://blogginsmoore.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 27, 2006. Last week while Emmy was in Utah I presented a plan to Steve. Let's teach Meg how to ride her bike without the training wheels. We presented the plan to her as "Let's surprise Emmy by teaching you how to ride your bike with no training wheels" that sounded much better to her than learn to ride your bike! She even uses her breaks! Stay cool where you are.We love you all! Monday, June 26, 2006. Up Up and Away. Alyssa and Meggy were kind of groggy but excited to go see the balloons.

Moore's Blog: October 2006

http://blogginsmoore.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Three Little Jack O'Lanterns. Three little jack o'lanterns came to life last night! We carved our pumpkins for our family night activity. Well actually the kids, grandma and myself scooped them out and then the master carver went to work! Alyssa decided to taste pumpkin and got some on her nose! Steve told the girls to look online and see if there were any designs that they would like to try to do! The pumpkins look great and the girls were as thrilled as could be. Friday after...

Moore's Blog: July 2006

http://blogginsmoore.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 31, 2006. We had a birthday party for Emmy Friday evening. The Crook family came over for dinner since their house was packed up ready for the big move which took place on Saturday. We're sad to see them go. Emmy had a great little party. This year was just a family party since she had such a big shin-dig for the 8th birthday! I made cherry chip cake with the pink fluffy frosting. I want to know who makes that frosting in a double boiler burning their hands off in July? Friday, July 28, 2006.

Bloggers From Pluto: March 2011

http://jefferiesfam-melecia.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 08, 2011. We celebrated Becca's birthday with a party this past Saturday. She had been home for a week and a half with the flu, and was facing piles of makeup homework and the birthday party. Friday morning she broke into hives on her face, arms, and hands. She was itchy and miserable! Saturday was the same way, but her flu was gone - just the hives remained and she definately wanted the party to happen! I should have brought some music because nobody talked! Friday, March 04, 2011. School...

Duck Reach Brewery - Joel Seadon

The Cataract Reserve sits on the edge of the small city of Launceston, and is home to an abandoned hydro-electricity power station. The design straddles both sides of the river, incorporating an abandoned 19th century hydro-electricity power station. On arrival, a small concrete box gives little away of what lies below. The start of the journey. An austere room, placing the focus on the first stage of brewing, malting. The section explains the extreme topographical conditions. This is achieved through hi...

Language and visual artifacts inspire me to address. The problematic location of gay identities. My investigations into the construction of these identities are framed by sexual and social politics. I have begun to explore the current dominant ideology of assimilation in the gay community as it can pertain to domesticity, cultural norms and physical desire. In revealing my own specific needs for shelter, I attempt to surface narratives that intersect historically. Of five years and counting.
