The Vogon Poet: Grrr! I know!
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/06/grrr-i-know.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Tuesday, June 10, 2008. I've just been completely patronised. Er hello, of course I know about processes. I also know that if you sort it by MEMORY you can close all the programs which are causing your computer to hang and STOP RESPONDING, thus freeing more memory for the other struggling applications. DUH. I've been using computers since 1984. I am in a bad mood now. 10 June 2008 at 10:17. 10 June 2008 at 10:29. 10 June 2008 at 10:43. View my complete profile.

The Vogon Poet: Commuter says no
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/04/commuter-says-no.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Try to be positive about everything. After all, you only live once and there are always people who are worse off than you. Count your blessings and appreciate everything available to you. Modern life is actually not that rubbish. Now, I'm going to bitch about commuters who do the following:. Applying makeup on the train. We all know what you look like under there now. Diving into a packed train as the doors close. Please keep your hands a...

The Vogon Poet: Blogger Mortis
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/05/blogger-mortis.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Tuesday, May 20, 2008. What happens when you die? I don't mean what will become of your body and possessions, how many people will turn up to your funeral (probably nobody), or who will get all your money (what money? Also, when you die does this mean someone else will go through your laptop(s)/computer(s) and trawl through all your private stuff? If someone has the answer, please feel free to post it in my comments. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Vogon Poet: It's the end of the world as we know it, and I'm shopping
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2007/05/its-end-of-world-as-we-know-it-and-im.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Thursday, May 10, 2007. It's the end of the world as we know it, and I'm shopping. Did you ever read those stories about life in the post-apocalyptic world? That reminds me, I need to buy button mushrooms. You'd definitely have to learn how to garden, and quickly. All the perishables in the supermarket would, well, perish pretty quickly. So you'd need to know how to grow some more. Same goes for meat. You'd have to become a pretty good farmer in n...Since a lot o...

The Vogon Poet: Nostalgia.com
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2007/04/nostalgiacom.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Wednesday, April 25, 2007. There once was a place, long ago, where you could spend hours wandering around a new world - meeting new people, chatting to old friends, admiring ascii pictures, reading sumptuously detailed descriptions of glittering objects you encountered, battling the occasional dwarf, and picking up loot. The screen was black, the text was frequently green or yellow, in the style of old monochrome green monitors. I doubt you do.

The Vogon Poet: Eye Blog
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/04/eye-blog.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Thursday, April 24, 2008. Infrequently. Sometimes I have a way with words, sometimes I prefer to take pictures. The pictures usually win. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). She attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which. The Vogon Poet: There's no place like 127.0.0.1
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/05/theres-no-place-like-127001.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Friday, May 23, 2008. There's no place like 127.0.0.1. Both Worlds, Gibraltar. I've had more beds than this. This is a quick rundown of the places I've lived. Age 0 - 11 / Semi-detached house / Plymouth. Age 11 - 19 / Parents' Flat / Gibraltar. Age 19-20 / Uni / Bath. Age 20-24 / Rented flats / Gibraltar. Age 24-29 / My flat / Gibraltar. Age 29-Present / Rented flats / London. And now I suppose I might do some work instead of blogging halfheartedly.

The Vogon Poet: OMG STFU PLS FFS THX
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/05/importance-of-being-silent.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Thursday, May 15, 2008. OMG STFU PLS FFS THX. I cannot even hear myself think. If I would like to gain enough focus to actually be able to do my job without the onslaught of this aural distraction I must arm myself with my own pair of sound-isolating earphones (Shure E5Cs to be exact) and drown out all the surrounding cacophony with some of my own music. I sleep with earplugs in. I frequently miss the sound of my morning alarm. Country music is not music at all.

The Vogon Poet: Supermassive Black Hole
http://vogon-poet.blogspot.com/2008/04/supermassive-black-hole.html
Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Today is the day those doughnuts at CERN (The European Organisation for Nuclear Research) switch on the much-anticipated Large Hadron Collider in the hopes of artifically creating their very own contained black hole. The logic behind this whole experiment is fatally flawed anyway. I thought scientists were meant to have more than one brain cell between them, but listen to this. After plans to build the particle accelerator were ...Europ...
