Thursday, March 15, 2012. Second grade does a wonderful unit on birds every Spring. It includes a field trip to the World Bird Sanctuary as well as a research poster and culminates in dressing up as your bird and doing a "museum" consisting of a 30 second presentation to parents and other classes at CCS. Sam chose the Atlantic Puffin as his bird. It is in the arctic bird family! Ask him about his bird and he can tell you a myriad of interesting facts! Here is his research poster:. Corwin went from two naps to one nap back in Novemeber. This is how he has spent most of his lunch times since November. :). What the boys wanted to play with when the job was complete. Corwin LOVES Ander. It's an intense love. I can't ever leave Ander and Corwin alone for Corwin would squeeze the love out of him. This was a VERY rare moment.

How many boys does it take to sweep the floor? Grandma got the boys some brooms. So, now when we get the broom out to sweep(after every meal)the boys feel like they need to get their broom as well. Here is how it goes. I sweep the dirt/food into a pile and the boys sweep my pile into their pile and so on and so on. These boys love their daddy.
