Jon Susan Marin: Cavities
http://jonsusanmarin.blogspot.com/2011/11/cavities.html
Friday, November 18, 2011. A dead piece of poultry and I wasn't passing out! Im with you. My hand is not going in there! I will say that I would rather put my hand in the turkeys cavity then to repeatedly hear you use the word juices while describing any meat again. I see you through in the words moist and tender, so maybe that was your point with juices too. :). November 27, 2011 at 9:38 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, October 13, 2011. My family tells me I'm Claire. But here, it's a little more like Gloria learning to ride a bike. Minus a few assets. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jon Susan Marin: November 2011
http://jonsusanmarin.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Last night after dinner, I was doing dishes and Marin asked if she could use my computer to get on YouTube to watch funny cat videos. I said yes, so she began hunting for any kitty that would make her laugh. She watched "Oh, Long John", and then one click lead to another, and I heard her say "Mom! WHAT AM I LOOKING AT? Me: Marin, will you sit up on the couch with me? Marin: No, Mama, I might accidentally see your computer with that thing on it. Me: What did you see? I went to ...

Jon Susan Marin: Shoe Shopping
http://jonsusanmarin.blogspot.com/2011/10/shoe-shopping.html
Sunday, October 2, 2011. I get so many pairs of silver shoes? With that in mind, I began shopping. Almost all of the shoes I love are shoes I don’t need even a little bit - heels, wedges, shiny heels, shiny wedges, and light boots. I don’t wear heels anymore after the unfortunate sprain incident from a year and a half ago, so with heels I can look but not touch. Who am I kidding. I sprained my ankle in a pair of wedges in my own home. I'm stuck with practical. I did not get excited when I saw them, (exce...

http://jonsusanmarin.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 28, 2011. You Can't Make Me Look At You. Yesterday, Marin donated her lunchbox to her kitty. She put it on the floor in Sammy's favorite sunbeam and put a toy near it. How did the cat thank her? I love cats. They are endlessly awesome. Links to this post. Links to this post. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Frightening. Jon Susan Marin: July 2011
http://jonsusanmarin.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Me: Marin, what is 24 5? I show her a math problem from a book). Marin: I don't know! Me: You can use your fingers to count. (I demonstrate on my own fingers). Marin: I can't. I can't. I can't. (head drops down to table, tears begin pouring out and over, awful noises from child follow). Me: Marin, please don't let your frustration take over. (I close book to try to follow my own advice). Marin: .very long silence. Me: What is 24 5? This time without showing the problem in the book).
