Sunday, 16 August 2009. Horse Trekking in Wales. It always amazes me that every new place I visit quickly becomes my new favorite. Sunday, 27 June 2010. Spring Break in Scotland. This year we went to Scotland for spring break. I will give everyone ONE guess who had this brilliant idea! Nonetheless, the boys and I decided to make the best of our time and had a pretty good time in a really beautiful country. Day 1: Drive to Scotland and get settled in our ENORMOUS beach house in Elie Scotland. We rented this house with 10 other adults. We took turns cooking and so every night was a new culinary treat! Tuesday, 22 September 2009. Jackson's first day of kindergarten has now come and gone. We are actually into week three of kindergarten . It amazes me how fast these weeks have gone. Jackson was so excited the first day of school. Connor started school a week before he did, and I had to explain this to Jackson every single day for that week! Thank you DoDDS for that! Wednesday, 30 December 2009. We did find out throughout the day that he really likes his new toys! Clipo blocks are a huge hit with him! Sunday, 4 December 2011. Started with missing fondant and cake making supplies and ended with a happy boy. Colton got special star muffins with candles for breakfast. He thought that was pretty cool. Monday, 12 October 2009. It constantly amazes us how alike Colton and Jackson look. I don't know if it's in the mannerisms along with the actual looks of the boys but people will walk into Jeff's office and think baby pictures of Jackson are pictures of Colton.
