I started in Manhattan, continued through Delaware, traversed my way through Philly, and ended in Baltimore. I pedaled hard and fast. I kept my head down, only took breaks when I absolutely had to and battled the rain, traffic, and big city slums. My mind (and butt) was numb and my legs felt like noodles. It was still early, about 6am when I started. I stopped into a donut shop to recharge before I navigated through the big city. 8hours and 45minutes in the saddle today. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Yup, that's right, JR has officially pedaled his little patushka through 10 states in the past 3 weeks. Who has two thumbs and is really impressed? I made a little map to keep track of him on the road and I hung it (well taped it) to my cubicle wall. I love check lists and countdowns galore, and this is just a little something (along with extra keebler cookies) that is keeping me sane while he is gone. Monday, April 30, 2012. Four o' clock came very early this morning, but I made it out the door somehow with 2 shoes on and in an outfit that matched (as opposed to my awesome pink pj pants and killer tshirt in my slippers).
