I don't like talking about me. But this is the section you selected. So here goes. I always enjoyed photography growing up. But then again, have I really stopped growing up? Once I became an Art Director, my interest in photography increased. Or, maybe it was my interest in photography all along that led me to Art Direction? I spend my free time traveling. Even though I travel to take photos. I enjoy the experience of live music. And I love being able to capture that experience with my lens.

November 4, 2012. Smashing Pumpkins - The Roy Wilkins Auditorium - 10.20.12. The last time I saw the Smashing Pumpkins was in 1994 at Lollapalooza on Harriet Island. November 20, 2011. After we had our fill of pizza and beer, we headed to the Duomo. Generally, these types of tourist destinations are not my favorite, but I really enjoyed the gothic architecture and art of Siena's cathedral. March 24, 2012. Three weeks ago as I was driving my full-size truck across a frozen lake, I reflected back on one of the most amazing fishing seasons I've had on the ice. The mild Minnesota Winter had forced us further north to Lake Mille Lacs where I spent numerous "banner" fishing weekends with some great friends. One of those friends was professional fisherman and guide, Matt Peters. Looking back, I find myself itching for open water fishing as I revisit these photos from last fall of Matt.

July 9, 2012. Phish - Alpine Valley - 06.30.12. In the summer of 1996, after getting shut-out for tickets to Red Rocks, a couple of good buddy's and I made the trek across Wisconsin to Alpine Valley Music Theatre to what would be my first Phish show. 16 years and 65 shows later, I found myself leaning against the stage of the massive shed with a photo pass pasted to my shirt anticipating the entrance of one of my favorite bands.
