http://threedollarsworth.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 27, 2006. The list of my top albums of all time is nearing completion. I boiled it down and could come up with no less than 23 albums for my list. You may call it the Michael Jordan conspiracy if you wish, but in all honesty, I picked 23 because that was Ryne Sandberg's number! Be out with it in a day or two. Posted by James @ 2:57 PM. Friday, February 24, 2006. I was really starting to like Love Monkey.it had Tom Cavanaugh and it was about music! Posted by James @ 6:28 AM. But when I st...

Wes McCraw runs a great studio in the Akron area, boasts some top-notch guitar and arranging skills, and is just an all-round nice guy to boot. Des recorded and mixed much of Carry On. Our good friends Aimee and Joel from Wisconsin. Aimee sings some backup and plays percussion on Kevin's CD. A wonderful artist, both on and off the stage. Robin did the cover design for Kevin's CD. Great songwriter, great musician, and all-around great guy. Joe plays drums on Kevin's CD, and also on Desley's Carry On.

Still Inertia: The History
http://www.stillinertia.com/history.html
Music is the most important, unobstructed form of communication. Ever since I was a young lad, I knew music was an important and integral part of me. In 1993 I took steps to structuralize songs and movements, recording them in a pseudo-professional (and presentable) format. Initially, I chose the name Inertia. Back in 1993 and started taking a serious approach to assembling an album to release to my friends and family. This project became the first album "Aperture". Album between June 1997 to June 1998.

http://threedollarsworth.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 23, 2006. And now, on with the countdown. No 5: Tree63 - The Answer To The Question. I've been listening to this CD non-stop for two weeks and I didn't want to stop! Turns out I like it a lot! For that matter, I think I'm liking most much that comes out of South Africa and Australia.it's unique, fresh, and able to take on mainstream music without sacrificing its message. (And Tree63 is from South Africa! And shortly after the band cuts out to just Ellis on the guitar playing a few reverbed h...

Marvelous Musings: August 2005
http://threedollarsworth.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Ridin' the storm out! It was raining already Monday morning when I woke up. And blowing. Our part of town lost power at 11:15 or so. And, did I mention that is was blowing? I've not heard how much rain we got, but my friends tell me it was officially "a lot." And the wind was pretty consistent around 30 to 40mph, I think, with good gusts into the 60s. I'm used to blizzards on the wide open prairies, but this was nice. Friends, and a good family to house us. Many of my friends an...
