http://thejoebirds.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-makeshift-sword-sheath.html
Saturday, September 14, 2013. A makeshift sword sheath. I caught him walking around the house like this. When you don't have your pants on, there aren't many other places to put a sword. February 18, 2014 at 2:10 PM. Hahaha. I just saw this! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A makeshift sword sheath. The time I underestimated Bens intelligence. Watermark template. Bird Feed: The time I underestimated Ben's intelligence...
http://thejoebirds.blogspot.com/2013/09/the-time-i-underestimated-bens.html
Thursday, September 12, 2013. The time I underestimated Ben's intelligence. Before I forget, I want to jot down this little scene that played out about a week ago. While visiting the Danahers for little MG's birthday, I wanted to show Anne how Ben loves the letter O. And also to have her hear him say it, because he says it, "bO" and it's super cute. Anyway, I picked up the book, "The Pokey Little Puppy," and called over Ben. Me to Ben) "What letter do you see? As expected, Ben pointed to the "O").

Thursday, April 18, 2013. Leah pulls in a fish. With a little help. Leah gets a fish. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Road trip to Covington, LA. This past weekend we went on our own little Spring Break to Louisiana to visit some of the Chatry relatives. We had such a wonderful time visiting, relaxing, and enjoying some delicious dinners. There was plenty to do with a beautiful pool and a peaceful river at our fingertips, lots of fishing, and a dog and two cats to follow around. After the ...

Bird Feed: July 2014
http://thejoebirds.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. A very belated announcement. On May 15th at 9:29pm, Henry Ransom Bird was born! He weighed a healthy 9 lbs. 9 oz. and measured about 19.5 inches long. He was a little stinker and arrived on the night that his Daddy went back to work (after having 8 days off waiting for baby! Poor Joe missed the birth by just an hour! Henry was one week "late", just like his big sister. Meeting their little brother. Only minutes old. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Bird Feed: Three (and a bit) months old
http://thejoebirds.blogspot.com/2014/08/three-and-bit-months-old.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Three (and a bit) months old. I honestly can't believe that Henry has already flown past the 3 month old mark. How can that be? Where has my newborn gone? 4 day old Henry. But, at the same time, how have we only known this little man for 3 short months? I swear he's been a part of our family for ages. 3 month old Henry. But please, Henry, don't grow up too fast. August 28, 2014 at 8:38 AM. Look at all that chunk! September 8, 2014 at 10:39 AM. Diaper butt. :).

Saturday, February 16, 2013. Ben has been playing outside happily by himself for quite a while. He just came inside and plopped a handpicked bunch of white dandelion seed heads in my lap. My lap and the floor around me are now covered in dandelion seeds, but I don't mind. He picked me flowers! Ben - you are such a sweet boy. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tuesday, September 18, 2012. New Life and A Life Well Lived. This week the world will welcome the long anticipated Isaiah "Izzy" Speier, and heaven, god willing, will welcome Grandpa Don Guggemos. Grandpa Don and Leah. And as for Izzy Speier, we know 7 girls bring quite a lot of competition, but us guys can be pretty damn dashing when we want to. I know it looks like Ben is holding a Louisville Slugger, but that skinny thing is actually Becca's arm! Cause every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man".

Monday, July 30, 2012. Happy 1st Birthday Benjamin Michael! It's hard to believe that a year has already gone by since we welcomed our little Ben into the world. I still see him as my little baby, but he sure has grown! Ben spent his birthday, July 9th, workin' hard at the Scituate Beach with all his Bird and Speier cousins. For his birthday dinner, we had some delicious enchiladas and rice (thank you Aunt Cindy and Uncle Stevie - it was the perfect dinner for our Texas boy! Leah was very helpful.
