Johnston Family: September 2013
http://johnston4in4.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 16, 2013. We had the kids make a boat that would float so they could take it down to the pool and swim with it before the pool closed. They tested their boats in the bathtub first. Luke can't see the bathtub without wanting to get in too. Brianna's tipped over at first so she changed several things until it floated. Heath likes taking pictures of Luke in random places, here is one. I find these on the camera later when I go to upload them. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Johnston Family: March 2013
http://johnston4in4.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 22, 2013. Princess Ball and Basketball. In February, the girls went to the Princess Ball with their dad. Our church always does this in February and the girls look forward to it. I usually take the boys somewhere so I took them to Sonic. Luke finally got his first bath in the tub at 7 months. We only bathe our children weekly - I know, call the authorities on me! Monday, April 8, 2013. Luke and the Cat. Luke LOVES our cat! I am pretty sure this will be his first clear word other than mama and dada because at 8 months, he already says the "t" sound very clearly and is pretty close to the whole word when he sees the cat. He sits at the window watching the cat and when he is fussy, the kids take him to go find the cat. He is not the most gentle with the cat but our cat is sweet with him anyway. Johnston Family: Colonial Birthday Party
http://johnston4in4.blogspot.com/2015/06/colonial-birthday-party.html
Sunday, June 7, 2015. We only have birthday parties for our 5 and 10 year olds and then maybe something small when they turn 13 or 16 but we haven't gotten there yet. Katelyn turned 10 this year and she wanted a Colonial Birthday party. She invited all her friends from homeschool group and a couple of neighbors. We went to Williamsburg a couple years ago which the kids loved so we did a little version of Williamsburg for the party. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the hop scotch (or scotch-hop...

Johnston Family: July 2014
http://johnston4in4.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 11, 2014. May - catch up. Kate celebrated her 9th birthday at the end of May. We went to the Chattanooga Zoo with Heath's family. His sister got us a family pass for the year and the kids loved it. Chattanooga is a great city and the zoo is really neat. Thanks Melissa! We celebrated Grandma's 60th at the lake. Sam celebrated his 1st communion in May. Blogging has been almost impossible for me lately but I am trying to at least put a few pictures in! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). May - catch up.

Johnston Family: August 2013

Monday, August 26, 2013. Brianna's recent project was the White House. She learned about the different rooms, who has lived there, and several other things. I am really enjoying seeing their interests although still having trouble motivating them to work on their projects sometimes. Here is what she built. Friday, August 2, 2013. Johnston Family: March 2014
http://johnston4in4.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 21, 2014. We made snack foods: veggies and home-made french onion dip, Heath's famous potato skins (YUM! Chips, mozzarella sticks, and more. They ate at little tables and got ready to dance. The boys were so excited to get to dress up and the girls were helping Alex and Sam find outfits. They could only find one kids tie for both of them so Alex wore it and Sam got to wear one of Heath's ties. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our Catholic Homeschooling family of 8. Johnston Family: January 2014
http://johnston4in4.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 6, 2014. Unfortunately, Christmas afternoon the kids started sleeping a lot, weird since they actually slept in and Heath and I woke up at 8:30, shocked that we had slept in! Christmas Eve pictures after Heath's parents house and church. Luke was not in the mood after all that. Leah got Dora and Boots skating from Heath's parents, she loves them! Luke now LOVES presents and couldn't wait for his turn! After the holidays, we are going wheat free again. We originally did it for Sam who ...
