Thursday, January 29, 2009. A Day in the Life of Lexi. Watching Kung Fu Panda with her doll (and her doll's new pillow- thanks, Gram! She can now be heard quoting a good portion of the movie. She still absolutely LOVES it. Her hair gets a little static crazy these months. I have been taping her a bit with the videocamera lately and after a few minutes of that (or after taking a few photos) she has started saying, "that's enough, mom! Thursday, December 18, 2008. Sittin' (or screamin') with Santa. We decided to go visit santa on a wed. evening and hopefully avoid some of the crown. We started talking about going to see santa earlier in the day and before actually getting there Zach mentioned about 3 times that we were going to the North Pole. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Castle Park and Picnic. After the Dinosaur Resource Center we headed to what the kids have named "Castle" park- they love it, it's a great park. Sunday, July 6, 2008. Watching Nathan's Hotdog Eating Contest on TV. Gram helped the boys make a jello flag cake- it has become Zachary's all time favorite cake- I think he has had 4 pieces a day. Since this was the last day of Josh being 'student of the week' and Halloween (and he has told me quite a few times that parents can come eat in the caf and we get to sit in a special area) We brought a $5 subway sandwich and met Josh in the cafeteria- he was all smiles for the first 5 minutes! Sunday, November 23, 2008. Quick update- we have another beautiful southern colorado day today! Sunny and 60 degrees. We got gas for $1.59 today yahoo! And just in time for our 8 hour drive north for Thanksgiving. We are leaving Wed. to go to the very northern part of Wyoming to my aunt and uncles and grandmother's.
