Thursday, June 30, 2011. If you look closely, you can see the stuff in my car too! Driving at a normal speed, Mapquest estimated 25 hours and Google estimated 1 day and 3 hours. Well, it took us 2 days. He looks thrilled huh? This is what the scenery was like most of the way. Momentous event of the trip: Pep (my car, short for Pepper ann) hit 20,000 miles. Monday, December 27, 2010. I was so sad that a couple days after I left Utah there was a big snow storm. We haven't really had any snow this winter, which I am ok with. I like the snow for a little while, but not for months and months. It is pretty for a little while, but it means I have to drive in it, walk in it, go outside for rec. Ess, and be in it. Monday, February 24, 2014. Shirley always gets love with her older girl cousins, Mattie and Khloe! One of the pull over hikes we did. It was beautiful there! Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Shirley's 4th of July 2013. Here she is in her 4th of July attire. Isn't she just a doll? I love the way she would crawl while wearing a dress/skirt! Monday, November 18, 2013. So, I had a baby. He's pretty great and he keeps me busy and tired. I also moved into a new home - not so fun with a new baby. Oh well! I like the idea of my baby having a 10/10 birthday, so I was scheduled for my c-section on that day. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. I just found out that a good friend I work with has cancer again. We will call her Kim. She ='s in her early 30's and is not married and has not yet had kids. She's battled cervical cancer for about 7 years on and off. The bad part is the more she fights it, the less likely it is that she will be able to have kids. It got my wheels turning. Sunday, August 21, 2011. It's been a while since I've posted. time flies when you're having fun! His health is good. He has bounced back wonderfully, and we are so grateful and happy with life right now. Once again, we live in 3 month cycles. As we await scans every three months, we have a chance to breathe and enjoy healthy life. Here are some things we've been up to! 4th of July in our matching shirts. Dan loves to match! He HATES matching, so I'm always grateful when he lets me :). See you next year!
