As before, I'm going to post pictures of my admission assignment. This year there needs to be only one for me. After all, I am. In the middle of design studies right now - so who's that crazy bitch who wants to do all that rumba once again. Here it is, my tabloid size 'zine' called AMANDATORY, neatly documented. I also made a (very yellow) two-sided A3 poster with infographics to make a clarified impression of myself. Read the texts by clicking the pictures. Negative pictures - positive mood.

I had another course on knitting, this time with patterns and some new techniques. First I designed different test patterns by using a computer program and after uploading the patterns into a control device I started to knit test pieces with varying yarns. It was all in all very inspiring and interesting. :). We also had a great chance to manufacture some knitted fabric industrially at Kutomo Holopainen Oy in Tuusula, Finland. Thinking back last summer. And dreaming up plans for next summer. Some days ago I browsed through my computer and traced some photos of myself around one lovely country - Spain. So this is me in my element: traveling. Pictures in random order. Start of the trip: Bilbao - bad(ish) weather, hah. :D. After that: San Sebastian - nice and good! Followed by: Zaragoza - a dose of culture. Last stop: Madrid - big city heat. Loved it. In total: two weeks of happiness. Summer: please come back quickly!

Life and other stuff. A pause in posting - a moment for living. After a whole harsh week of an entrance exam I flew to Spain with a friend. We explored four different cities: Bilbao, San Sebastian, Zaragoza and Madrid. It was an efficient, yet brilliant two-week trip. Especially the Basque Country had some of the most beautiful views I've seen! I will be busy with many positive things this summer. If you can, go and enjoy your time in the sun! The second year in Metropolia University started with hands-on action by experimenting different textile materials. Let me introduce to you the handmade triangle cushion which I designed last fall. This unique triangle cushion of mine is made of recycled materials. It consists of carefully selected pieces from two different vintage leather jackets and self-made yarns from leftover fabrics. I hope you like it! 2013 in pictures - I enjoyed summer time the most this year. :). HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!

S way of creating both delightful jewelry and innovative interior pieces from recycled bicycle parts. For some weeks I have craved for these beauties as seen at astubutiikkiin.fi:.
