A place to share. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Our now annual vacation to New Brighton SB in Capitola was filled with fun. From Pizza My Heart on the beach front (above) to the boardwalk to Marianne's Ice Cream, the whole family had a great time. On day two we strolled through downtown Capitola. Many of the shops were fun, especially the candy shop where we bought salt water taffy, my favorite. Afterward we thought we'd try the classic Pizza My Heart location right on the beach front. Happy Birthday to Keira!

A place to share. Thursday, May 19, 2011. Happy Mothers' Day INSTALLED! This is the OLD faucet. Probably a 1959 original! I have been wanting a swan neck faucet for. well a long time. See how our faucet is coming out of the wall? This is the NEW faucet! I can now fill big pots with water, pile my sink high with dishes and still fill a cup with water. We got together with my side of the family for an Easter Egg hunt and lunch. We met at a park and it was cold! We made it just long enough to do the egg hunt before heading to my brothers shop to eat. We broke the kids up in groups by age and let them go a few at a time with the youngest going first.'. Andrew turned 8 this week. He is a fun little boy. He loves to read, play Wii, hang out with his friends, play Lego's, and be a boy! Turning 8 meant Andrew didn't have to sit in a car seat anymore!
