This building houses a highly specific and intricate program of laboratories, lecture halls, classrooms, and faculty offices. It is sited in a way that, in conjunction with flanking buildings, creates an appropriately scaled plaza, and clarifies the path system in that portion of the campus. The major components of the building are organized around a large student commons.
