I have struggled with my weight my entire life. It is so difficult for me to lose weight. I want to be healthy. Saturday, September 28, 2013. A Day At Grandma's House. Today was a special treat for me. Today I got to have 3 of my 7 darling grandchildren here. Holly needed to do homework and Angelica had a meeting. That meant that I got to spend some extra time with Elizabeth, Robert and Vaughn. Vaughn arrived first. We had breakfast together. Monday, September 24, 2012. Saturday, Bob and I decided to drive to Midway for dinner. The colors were GORGEOUS! I was so busy enjoying the scenery, I forgot to take pictures! I did get one that showed some of the maples turning red. We headed to the Homestead to see about eating at Fanny's Grill. When we pulled into the parking lot we noticed a LOT of St. Bernard dogs. Saturday, February 25, 2012. Like Father Like Son. Dave made the most incredible space ships with his Legos. As soon as Bobby and Paul would get home, they would run in to where I was laying on the couch and check to see what Davy had made. Then they would beg him to make space ships for them. Friday, December 30, 2011. I loved the nativity set that John brought home from Bethlehem for he and Angelica. It is really quite beautiful. I have always enjoyed nativities and have collected quite a few. He brought me one from Bethlehem, too, but it is not quite so elaborate. Having said all that.I also enjoy the Santa part of Christmas! It was fun to see the stockings on the sofas.and the kids' original stockings hanging by another fireplace in the library. I'm not sure Grandma knew what it was either!
