Friday, August 30, 2013. Will has matured so much this summer. He has been practicing his ABCs, colors, shapes, and counting to 20! He's even reading the newspaper now. Or he may be just watching cartoons. This year for Ellie's birthday, I figured he would want to pick out her present and pay for it himself. Thursday, April 23, 2009. I love this picture. So I thought I'd post it for everyone to see. Links to this post. Our Abby turned "1" on Saturday the 18th. It's hard to believe she's already 1. We had the party at our house. It was a beautiful day. After presents and cake, the kids played outside. Thank you to everyone who could attend and make her day a special one. Abby loves her new slide! Abby's own little cake. This is probably the only b-day Carter will be able to help with presents.

Wednesday, October 30, 2013. We also have lots of fun before the day of Halloween. The kids picked out Halloween masks at Michaels to color. Last year, we decided to play with the fake leaves in the house last minute because the kids never had a chance to play outside in the actual leaves. Well this year because the weather has been so nice, the kids got to play outside in the leaves, but we thought we'd start a tradition of playing with the fake ones too. :). Tuesday, October 29, 2013. Will's first hockey game. Boston University (Papa's alma mater) Men's Hockey Team was playing in East Lansing Saturday. Uncle Chris came down with the same cold the rest of us already had and decided to stay home. We asked Will if he wanted to go to his first hockey game at "the Sparty school" and he was stoked. We treated him dinner at one of our favorites, Harrison Roadhouse. Then we parked at Spartan Stadium and he asked to go see Sparty. So we did. Clapping to the fight song.
