And then there were two. A little bit about our day to day. As I try to keep moving, I look onward to the new year. I cannot believe it will be 2011. In a little less than 24 hours. The plan: to reflect on 2010 and move into 2011 with an open heart. Will it be difficult? Absolutely. Is this open heart of mine wounded? And then there were two. A little bit about our day to day. It is day 5 in the hospital and day 4 of drainage. They continued to release. Fluids from John’s chest every 6 hours…10 am, 4 pm, 10 pm and 4 a.m…until this morning. At 10 am, the lung doctor came in, released the clamp on his tube and nothing happened. There was no drainage. It was unbelievable. Organs are now moving back into the correct place. This morning, the doctor proceeded to show us the x-rays from day one and today. On day one,...It sh...

Although the last part of my labor was miserable, to say the least, Cole has been such a great baby and we can't believe he is finally here! We have successfully made it through the first week and a half (which has been a blur of feedings and diaper changes) and he has already changed so much.
