This August, our EMI office plans a landmark move to a joint facility with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF- remember Jim Elliot? It's a move that carries tremendous implications for eMi's scope of ministry. Here in East Africa. It's why my husband is leading eMi's third fundraising climb up Kilimanjaro. Two weeks from now! It's never been my best subject.

Difficult conversations with truth and love. Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine interview Tim Muelhoff, the author of a new book called, I Beg to Differ: N. Ifficult Conversations with Truth and Love. There are three parts to the broadcast and I highly recommend listening to all of them - for adults and children alike.

I taped numbers to the floor and we practiced multiplication facts. He hoped, skipped, stepped his way through twenty minutes of drills. Well, maybe more like 15 but it seemed like 20. Just sayin'. His favorite was "Twister Math." I would call out a sum and his body parts would touch numbers that added up to that sum.

John and Janes Adventure. Cape Cod and Lincoln, MA. May 22, 2015. John & Jane. Our final destination was New England to catch up with John’s wonderful cousins at Lincoln, near Boston, and Brewster, Cape Cod who organised our time passing us between both families and ferrying us around. It was lovely to catch up again. We spent 4 days out on a cold and windy Cape Cod, quite a shock to the system after our 70 F temperatures at Steamboat though expected as we had been following the terrible east coast winter.
