It has been almost a whole year since Natalie came home, and it is absolutely amazing to see how much she has progressed, and how much joy she has brought to our family and friends. Natalie has grown almost 4 inches in the last year, and continues to get lots of exercise. She will still eat almost anything - but her favorites continue to be cheese, fruit, meat, and candy! Wednesday, October 24, 2007. A Boy and His Cars. For those of you who don't know, Sean won a huge contest at his last company wide meeting. He got $1000 to spend at Zumiez, a new long board, an expensive watch, a backpack with speakers built into the straps, gift cards to local stores (like the movie theater), and a few other little nick knacks. We have taken countless trips to the local pound, looking for the dog that would fit our needs. We needed a small dog and one that would be good with Brandon. Saturday, April 5, 2008. We've had a fun and busy last couple of weeks. Easter was a great weekend. We started with a soccer game on Saturday morning, followed by an Easter egg hunt. Brandon found his five eggs quickly, so we rehid them many times to extend the fun. There was a news camera at our game from ABC news and filmed our team playing. The guy interviewed Brandon. He asked Brandon how he liked having his Mom as a coach and he said it's awesome! Don't go to the dark side of being a soccer mom!

Wednesday, August 10. These are the beginnings of a quilt I'm working on. It's really fun if you want to try, first you cut 504 circles from denim, then you cut 504 squares from material, then 504 squares from batting, then you trace 504 squares onto the denim, then you sew 504 circles to 504 squares of batting and 504 squares of material!
