A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31: Weary and stressed
http://petreyfamily.blogspot.com/2011/07/weary-and-stressed.html
A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31. Friday, July 15, 2011. So much has been going on in the past few weeks it has left me completely depleted, weary, and stressed. I have not slept well in days. The high school I coach for has been less than supportive for our cheer camp in taking away our transportation a week before we leave, pulling help with gas money, and not sending in our last payment when they said they would. For as hard as my girls work (and their parents sacrifice), it's disheartening. Big {...

A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Allergy Testing Round 2. Then I come back in my heart to, "I know you have a plan and a purpose for everything. There are so many around me that have it way worse. Thank you for your blessings." The ever present battle of my frail human spirit. This time Makayla tested positive for dairy, beef, and egg whites. As far as the test shows, the rice allergy has been eliminated! Sunday, July 11, 2010. This is how Makayla pronounces her name when you...

A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31: March 2010
http://petreyfamily.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31. Monday, March 29, 2010. So tonight we went for a much needed family walk. The walk was about 20 minutes, but sadly my foot started to hurt halfway through. Guess that's why the foot doctor has me laid off of everything (since September)! She said 1 (jump), 2 (jump), 3 (jump), 4 (jump), she skips 5, 6 (jump), 7 (jump), 8 (jump), 9 (jump), 10 (jump). I really don't know what age kids know their basic numbers, but we were impressed! You go, Makayla! Love you, baby girl!

A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31: I wanna see Jesus
http://petreyfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/i-wanna-see-jesus.html
A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. I wanna see Jesus. Today we were listening to a Veggie Tales song that says "you can't get to Heaven on a rocket ship." She told me, yes you can, mommy! So I had another opportunity to tell her how you do get to Heaven, and that she will have to make that decision to follow Jesus on her own. I also told her that Daddy and I pray that you will follow Jesus all the days of your life. May 22, 2012 at 1:37 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31: December 2009
http://petreyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
A Renewed Strength - Isaiah 40:28-31. Sunday, December 6, 2009. Lately, I've been squirting some ketchup (organic of course) on her tray and helping her dip her chicken dog into it. Here was the latest result: a very full belly and a very messy face! Thursday, December 3, 2009. My baby is 19 months old today! Makayla, I can't believe today you are 19 months old! Where does the time go? It may be my age, but I always make sure I cherish each moment I have with you.even the few frustrating ones! She can ma...
