I have been doing the couch to 5K program since John was born, but I had never ran outside and never a full 3.1 miles. Well, this morning I did it with the support of my boys. We spent the MLK weekend at the lakehouse for a change of scenery and had a wonderful time. We mostly just hung out around the house, watched movies and did a little bit of sledding on the lake, which is frozen. This little man is starting to flash some big smiles, and while I'm usually only able to catch the tail end of them on film, they're killer. Here is me attempting to catch some this morning. One day we'd be off to the Italian Catholic Federation Pancake Breakfast and the next we were taking a drive in the country side picking walnuts (probably illegally knowing Numbers).
