He asks, while searching the radio for a Nickelback clip. Nickelback. I kid you not. Podcasts are interesting because you can pick your topic and listen to one or a series, with all the imagination you require to read a book. Except your hands are free to type, wash dishes, run, or change the radio station. Here is a link. Care to make your own podcast?

Monday, 29 August 2016. 3250 - Presentation Review: Learning from Mistakes. Jennifer's presentation was interesting and engaging in its functionality - having to switch between frames gave adequate time to read and process each point, and the lateral movement with zoom and wide angles was visually appealing. Can we influence people into a deeper sense of change by what we teach? Kolb's four-stage learning model. Experience based, self-dir...

Ruth Davies PIDP Journey. The Provincial Instructors Diploma Program at VCC. Instructional Strategies Assignment 1.1 – Reflective Writing. Objective (I had to pick two). Thinking about this was very telling to me. Do my learners come into my classes with the same doubts as me; the same fears? It is important that students feel that they can succeed in a course and that includes us perceived subject matter expert instructors when we are the learner.
