March 25, 2011. I took the kids to the Keesler Air Show with our friends, the Gifford family. It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day! Ava and Mia toured a C-130 and had a blast in the bounce houses. August 31, 2009. I had the best of intentions of keeping up the blog while we were transitioning from TX to MS, but as you can all tell I was unsuccessful in a very big way! August 9, 2011. We took a mini vacation at the beginning of the summer to Ross Bridge Resort in Birmingham for a "reunion" with our friends Andy and Renee and Derek and Heather. October 19, 2009. I can not tell you how nice it is to live close to family again. We drove a little over 2.5 hours and got to spend weekend with cousins in Louisiana! August 9, 2011. Spring Break and the Audubon Zoo. Once again, I am terribly behind on our blog posts.Oh well, better late than never! We planned a very low key spring break. I let the girls splash in the wading pool early in the week. Then toward the end of the week, Peter and I took the kids to New Orleans to visit the Audubon Zoo. We had a wonderful time. November 30, 2010. We hosted Thanksgiving Dinner at our house this year. Peter's parents drove down and we had all of our military friends over who were still in town. We had 13 children and 10 adults. It was wonderful! Unfortunately, I was a bit tied up in the kitchen and didn't get very many good photos, but here they are any way! November 17, 2010. Saturday, August 01, 2009. Camping out" in the den was one of my favorite activities for about a week. I pulled everything off of my bed and drug it into the den and then brought in books and toys.
