John Frans har i det seneste. Aring;r, arbejdet på en udsmykningsopgave til Odense Teaters nye restaurant OT. Fredag d.26 Oktober 2007 blev det godt 10m2 store glasmaleri afsløret og kan nu og fremover nydes af alle, der kommer i teaterets restaurant. Energi Fyn havde i 2008 kraftigt vokseværk. I den forbindelse skulle der også kunst til. Energi Fyn har i mange år støttet kunsten på fyn, hvorfor valget derfor også faldt på fire fynske kunstnere: John Frans, Ivan Boydler, Erik Brandt og Ida Holm Mortensen. John Frans´s bidrag til Energi Fyn blev et 20m2 stort maleri. Odense Teaters restaurant OT.
