An economics blog by david comerford. Friday, 19 June 2015. I think effort is required to be this technically illiterate! BBC Scotland reports today. On a new hydro scheme: " Plans lodged with Dumfries and Galloway Council said the scheme will generate about 700 megawatts a year. In a moment of prevarication, I clicked through and saw that the plans said neither. This is mind blowing semi-competent incompetence! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. An economics blog by david comerford. Thursday, 30 April 2015. A dirty business at Longannet. Despite the relevance of this issue for Scottish voters in a Westminster election, it has not featured highly in the campaign. Posted by Henry Clarson. It should be clear now that the ludicrous requirement for a prospective President to have already wasted four years of his life “serving” on SFA committees is the main reason that Campbell Ogilvie was re-elected unopposed. I think this also reveals another crucial point. At that time, however, Dave K...

The IFS's David Phillips has a post at the Future of the UK and Scotland site. Which like the post by my colleagues David Bell and David Eiser at Scottish Fiscal and Economic Sudies. Sunday, 1 February 2015. Several great posts from Chris Dillow:. Which has a lot of good links.
