Next Post →. October 10, 2013. I just finished this week’s required reading for History 510/612. My brain is numb. Verbose is an understatement about this author! I consider myself to be a fairly intelligent person, but this writing is out of my league! I found it very difficult to follow his train of thought let alone assimilate what he was trying to get across. But, as best that I can, here we go! How could I be expected to understand something through someone else’s framework? Next Post →. Speaking in...

Using stuff for things…and junk. →. October 9, 2013 · 2:42 pm. Served for your enjoyment. I really like this analogy because is speaks directly to what I see as the same entity or concept (the cut of meat), that does not turn into to something completely different but transforms into something more easily digestible by the public (the cooked meat). Some people might like the raw cut, i.e. sushi lovers! Using stuff for things…and junk. →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Blog at WordPr...

Websites and the cost of making them. November 23, 2013 · 11:24 pm. I am pretty excited about it but the programs being used have shown to be sometimes difficult to use. I do wish we had more class time to work together as a group but the show must go on! I am not all that great when dealing with technical difficulties so this will show case my bouncing back skills, if I can regroup after a glitch. We shall see. I hope everyone does well and let the battle with Omeka begin! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Obviously a house is great to use for this because of the transition of occupants and all the history they carry with them but what about using other means. What if you used a car for example. No I don’t mean show me your carfax but show me who owned it, how long, and why did they get rid of it? What if it did prove interesting? Served for your enjoyment. Blast from the Podcast →.
