Sunday, February 8, 2015. 2014 at a glance. First time hosting Thanksgiving. Labor Day parade and fish scramble. Football kick-off party and the first day of school. Even though the circumstances were awful, we were happy to spend lots of time with Amanda and Conor over the summer. We bought a new house in May and moved in in June. We put the kids to work packing and painting. Another fixer upper : ) I hate moving, but I love my big kitchen and yard. Work party for Dad’s 60th. Easter at the farm.

Monday, February 25, 2013. This is Cori all ready to go to her playgroup Valentine party. One day we made pizza and heart rice crispy treats with the Southwards. Tuesday, November 13, 2012. We played musical costumes again this year. For trick-or treating in the neighborhood Cori was a water melon and Eli was superman again. Eli wore his ring master costume to school and Batman is his friend Christian. I helped with Eli’s party at school which was lots of fun, but I was busy helping, so I didn’t get many pics. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. The kids looked super cute for church in their matching dress and tie made by Stacy. When we were trying to get a family pic at Mom and Dad’s, the kids weren’t cooperating. Even candy bribes weren’t working, so David told them that if they cooperated they could hold Isaac. Worked like a charm and made for some adorable pics! Tuesday, July 16, 2013. We had a busy weekend. On Friday night we went fishing with the Southwards. The kids both caught their first ever fish, with some help of course. On Saturday we worked around the house and played with water balloons. On Monday we went swimming and then had a cookout with burgers, corn on the cob, watermelon, and root beer floats. Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Field trip to the pumpkin patch. Eli had his first ever school field trip to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. It was also his first bus ride and hay ride. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Derek had to go to Houston for work, so we went along and made a mini vacation out of it. . One day I took the kids to NASA space center. We learned a lot and touched an actual moon rock, but I think their favorite thing was driving the pretend Mars rovers. Derek had Friday off, so we all went down to Galveston.
