While tying flies in my studio one winter, it occurred to me that I had not seen paintings of mayflies in their natural habitat. My home is located right on Lost Creek and this scenic stream provided the inspiration for some of my paintings. I also spend a lot of time fishing in the Rocky Mountains and include this beautiful scenery in my work.
