Monday, October 3, 2011. It was an early start as we departed from LA to Honolulu. Due to security checks, we had to be at the airport at 6.30 for a 9am flight. Go figure. We wolfed down a quick breakfast at the hotel, jumped on the shuttle bus, and headed for the airport. Sunday, October 2, 2011. Honolulu - Day 3 - Pearl Harbour. It was an early start today as the Tour Bus was picking us up at 6.30. As part of our Cruise Package we were entitled to a Pearl Harbour Tour. We had done one tour before and were not sure about doing it again, but we had heard that the whole place had been upgraded. Monday, June 30, 2008. Day 3 in Singapore. Easy start to the day followed by a trip to a bike shop. Another miracle occurred. John didn’t buy anything for himself. But he did buy a HR monitor/wireless speed/wireless cadence/espresso maker thing for Narelle. Bike Boutique was interesting as they had a section at the back of the store for cyclists to shower and change for work, with their own lockers and a safe place to store bikes. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Wednesday - Singapore Fun - nearly the last post. We thought we had successfully overcome jet lag. Sleeping in until after 10am was not part of the plan. John doesn’t even know if he has ever slept in that long. The good thing about the church we attend is that it is air-conditioned. No excuses for non-attendance there.
