Banks of the Tyne. Sand Sea and Sky. Hexham Abbey Music Festival. I will be exhibiting with a host of visual artists in Hexham Abbey this Autumn. The theme of the Abbey Festival is 'New Beginnings'. One of the concerts to be performed is Hayden's 'Creation'. It will be the first time that Visual Arts will be included along with the musical events. Exhibition at The Biscuit Factory. Its buildings are an intense mixture of old and new architecture set within dramatic perspectives and skylines. It is so different to the cities I know and yet there are special places within it that need to be visited again like ' old freinds' . Walk Along Brooklyn Bridge'. St Patrick's Cathedral on 5th Avenue in Manhattan'.

I am continuing to produce more of these paintings as the combined use of acrylic paint and pastels is such a joy. Banks of the Tyne. Sand Sea and Sky. I've recently added a new gallery to my website called 'Sand Sea and Sky' which features a collection of paintings of various locations along the Northumbrian Coastline including Cullercoats, Tynemouth Longsands, and St Abb's Bay.
