On Tuesday we went to a children's farm over in Kansas with a friend and her 2 little girls. The boys loved all there was to do and see as we strolled around in perfect weather. We told the boys he was looking to see if their room was clean enough and if they deserved new toys. They BARELY made the deadline to call Santa before he left the North Pole. Phew! Because one is single, two is a couple, and three is a crowd. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. First Day at the Pool. The much anticipated first swim of the season finally came. The boys were sure excited to bust out their swimsuits and dive right in! Only the water was freezing! Marshall didn't seem to mind though. Lucky for Coen the toddler pool warms up faster since there is less water to heat. He prefers it there anyway as it allows him to splash around independently. Marshall wanted his spiky. He was being shy.

Marshall memorized his part really quickly this year (homeschool is paying off - we do memory work a couple times a week). We practiced and practiced, even after he had it down pat, just so he would be comfortable saying it once he got up to the podium. He knew what he was supposed to do and did it! He just got right up there, said his part, and walked back to his seat! Ah ha ha ha!
