CJ's Living Dreams: September 2014
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2014. It's All About the Red, White and Blue in Chile, too! Sorry about missing last week. As I mentioned, our internet was down and it was just fixed on Wednesday. Apparently there was something disconnected down in the bowels of the hotel and it took forever for them to find it. But they did, and now we're up and going again. I can get online AND upload pics for the blog, which is what prevented me before. Awesome for us because we had the two days off and we had a wonderful time ...

CJ's Living Dreams: January 2015
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 12, 2015. I'm so glad to be back with you. It's been a crazy last few weeks as any of you who keep up on my FB messages know. Suffice it to say that eight plane rides in less than a month was pretty intense. For awhile I felt like I was living at the airports and I became a total expert at going through security quickly. I can find each juice bar in a heartbeat and know the placement of the bathrooms in nine different airports. LOL. By the way, I must apologize for the weird posts that ha...

CJ's Living Dreams: Every Day is a Journey, and the Journey Itself is Home
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2014/11/every-day-is-journey-and-journey-itself.html
Friday, November 7, 2014. Every Day is a Journey, and the Journey Itself is Home. I hope you enjoyed the pictures of the road trip we took during our trip in the south of Peru. It was an amazing journey and filled with memories we will hold dear forever. This life we lead is such a blessing. Difficult in some ways, but as long as I have my sweet baboo with me, I can do anything. Now I promised you all some news. It's good and exciting, but in some ways difficult. But that's life, isn't it? For the most p...

CJ's Living Dreams: July 2014

Friday, July 18, 2014. Libertad o Muerte, But Let's Eat First! How have you all been since I talked at you last? It's been busy, crazy and fulfilling here in Buenos Aires. This is one of my favorite cities so far. Today's blog is about one of the places we just visited. Not Buenos Aires but a fun daytrip just a ferry ride away. The Old City Gate- Refurbished, but still absolutely beautiful. One of the streets in Colonia. The cobblestones are ridiculously hard to walk on. The next day we got up early and ...

Friday, January 31, 2014. And I Thought I was the Cool Mom! I love reading the Huffington Post. Especially the weird news section. You never know what you're going to read about. LOL. But this one really made me blink. I can't decide whether this Mom is really cool or a little bit over the top. Check out this note that was written by a mama concerned about her son's masturbating habits. Could you write something like this? Or is it way over the top? Let me know in the comments below! CJ's Living Dreams: November 2013
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 28, 2013. What Are You Thankful For? Since it's Thanksgiving for all us Americans, I thought I'd do a blog about this very special holiday. It's kind of odd being away from the US on this holiday. It's not like Easter or Christmas. No one but us Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, so it goes by without any fanfare. I'm so excited. Haven't had a good meal for that holiday in FOREVER. I'm so hoping we have pumpkin pie! How about green bean casserole in Germany? But we managed. I didn't...

CJ's Living Dreams: April 2014
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 25, 2014. We're here in Cordoba, Argentina and so far it's been a great place to visit. Cordoba has a beautiful downtown square where you can sit and listen to music and sip a drink. Lots of shopping, museums and parks. We are looking forward to checking them all out. Anyway, today's blog is about something of a pet peeve. Now you know that we've lived in many different countries. And all have their good and bad about them. But when I was online this morning checking things out,...When we w...

CJ's Living Dreams: February 2014
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 28, 2014. A Day of Truth and Opportunity. As you read this, I'll be in the middle of our move to Port Alegre, Brazil. We're very much looking forward to this new city. One of the things I'd do differently is volunteer my time. Where you ask? Somewhere I wouldn't have ever thought of doing two months ago. I know, I know. If you know what a favela is (if you don't, read up on what it is HERE. But, you know me. I'm nothing if not curious. And since our hotel literally sat at the bot...So, I...

CJ's Living Dreams: Road Trip Peru - Part One
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2014/10/road-trip-peru-part-one.html
Friday, October 24, 2014. Road Trip Peru - Part One. What an awesome trip. Totally different than what we expected, but a trip we'll never forget. Peru is a beautiful country in it's own way and a contrast in cultures and geography. While not our favorite kind of scenery, it is lovely, especially if you like the dry desert look. We had seven days to explore the south of Peru and since it is a lot bigger country than it looks, we had a lot of miles to cover. Pictures are always helpful, so let me show you...

CJ's Living Dreams: Peru Road Trip - Part Two
http://cjslivingdreams.blogspot.com/2014/10/peru-road-trip-part-two.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Peru Road Trip - Part Two. I'm back with the second part of our trip. We had a wonderful first three days and the second four where just as amazing. The Andes were beautiful and very different from the greener Andes we hiked in Chile. Different, yet amazing. The high plateaus in the Andes, barren except for the tall grasses and sparse cactus almost echo with loneliness, but they aren't lonely. There were many animals we saw as we drove through. Both wild and domesticated. In Col...
