城市要動，文化要亂，才有看頭，才是盛世。 星期三, 5月 14, 2008. 文學向來是本土華文出版的主流，但本土文學未必是國內書店暢銷的品種。在發行通行無阻的馬來西亞，本地出版社面對外國大量華文文學的強勢壓境，已漸漸鍛練出一套面向本土，而又兼顧國際市場的出版運作，專業「出版人」的架勢指日而待。 農曆年間，當我們還沉浸於新年氣氛，以及驚訝於突如其來宣布國會解散的困惑情緒，「有人」出版社此時費了不少資金到台北國際書展（一個在國際舉足輕重的華文書展）參展，並且也代理了國內多家出版社的書籍，向國際書商展示馬來西亞作品。 12300;有人」出版社由多位年輕作家組織，是近來走出國內的文學出版社，社內的夢幻組合有計劃性的在國外參展，他們的行動有着試圖影響海外書壇與文壇的意義。 這雖然不是首家本地出版社在台北參展，但對這家小出版社來說，我們可以充分看出本地出版人的勇氣與日益倍增的信心，以及他們對大馬文學出版的努力。 無論如何，逛書展時，當你被中港台書籍淹沒之時，記得留意那些本地最新出版的書！ 訂閱： 文章 (Atom). 12304;Life】Brunch，在家裡. Syed Husin Ali是我在上世紀80、90年代少數知道的馬來政治人物。無他，由於自己是長達二十年只閱讀中文報章的讀者，要想全覽馬來政治人物是件不容易的事。加上巫統長年一黨獨大，只要知道那幾位頭頭就意味知道所謂的馬來政治。 Syed Husin Ali是有別於那個年代，以至這個年代的馬來（巫統）政治人物，他所代表的牛頭黨（人民黨），盡管多次出征不利，但他所發表的，則超越馬來西亞的種族政治言論，總是讓你“耳目一新”（在當時的政治氣候），也符合較多華人的政治取向與看法，因而顯得如此特別與親近。 12298;馬來人的問題與未來》馬來文版最初發表於1977年，當年在霹靂太平政治扣留營完成（參與華玲反飢餓示威游行而遭逮捕），英文版則在1978年譯成，而中文版則遲了整整三十年，直到2008年308政治海嘯後再經過修訂，終於出版。 Syed Husin Ali 認為從兩個角度來看現實上的馬來人，都會出現相當多的矛盾點，例如一位華人，皈依伊斯蘭，娶馬來女子為妻，跟妻子...比如性，在沒有性教育的年代，始終不容...再如性，...

城市要動，文化要亂，才有看頭，才是盛世。 星期日, 9月 19, 2010. 獨立53年，我們的確創造許多輝煌的成就，但是我們也得承認在社會工程，尤其種族關系上，卻有很多不足之處，情緒性的雜音不絕於耳，你說這是政治化使然，他說是教育使然，說法都可以對號入座，差距不遠。 我們這些受中文教育，長久多與自己族群生活的人（反之亦然），不知不覺都會建立一個無形的圍牆，它不盡排外，只是會形成一種過度保護的社會心理。由於先天上就擁有文化視野上的盲點，使我們對族群的觀念（例如什麼叫作做華人？）變得僵硬、對他者漠視。 我們可以將族群問題詮釋為文化問題，各族群有各自的地方認同，語言認同等等。雖然各自在自己的生活系統，各自有其持守的價值觀念及相應的組織模式，不過我們不能永遠將生活共同體，自限為一個性質單純的社群，而且這也是不可能的事實。 我們常常把以上問題歸結於學校教育的失敗，尤其在過度強調各源流教育的發展，而忽略了各源流的交流與了解。由於討論這個問題常常會被標簽和過度詮釋，只好略過不談，也並非本文的主旨。 我們訴求各文化能獲得健全的發展，然而另一方面族群之間對各自的文化缺乏認識，因此我們亟需社會...15年前我們曾有過一場...
